For 13 + years, I have partnered with women through one of the most transformative moments of their lives in my “hometown” of Pensacola, FL. What started as a passion to support close friends as they welcome motherhood has turned into a career.

My journey

I had never considered a natural childbirth, until I was expecting my first daughter. That was until one of my friends began doula training and offered her services during my birth. After a long labor and delivery, my husband and I knew there was no way we could have done it without her. I immediately saw the empowerment women gain through the service and love of a doula and knew I wanted to make the same impact. I could not imagine how any woman could ever deliver without feeling supported by someone who knows and trusts the entire process. Her presence gave us peace of mind and allowed us to create a calm welcoming atmosphere for the birth of our daughter.

Through studying and hands on experience like attending friend’s births, I grew my skills and transitioned from a NICU nurse (serving families in a different capacity) to a full time mother of 7 and passionate doula.

What my services mean to you

I am passionate about supporting mamas in their own motherhood journey and helping them find local resources to meet their family’s needs. I have also decided to pursue a certification in Childbirth Education to better assist expecting mamas and am excited to be partnering with my co-founder, Sara Bush from Sara Bush Birth Photography, at Gulf Coast Motherhood, LLC to help provide my clients and the local community with many resources and support.
